Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 15205
Jabir ibn Abdullah reported that a man told him that he had seen the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) praying in a garment whose two ends were tied around his neck.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ مجھے ایک صاحب نے بتایا ہے کہ انہوں نے نبی ﷺ کو ایک کپڑے میں نماز پڑھتے ہوئے دیکھا ہے جس کے دونوں کنارے مخالف سمت میں تھے۔

حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ , حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ , عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" يُصَلِّي فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ , قَدْ خَالَفَ بَيْنَ طَرَفَيْهِ".
