Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 15207
Narrated by Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) set out, he kept his pace slow and commanded the people to do the same. But in the valley of Muhassir, he hastened the pace of his riding animal and commanded them to pelt the Shaytan with stones, even if they were the size of chickpeas.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے روانہ ہوتے وقت اپنی رفتار آہستہ رکھی اور لوگوں کو بھی اسی کا حکم دیا لیکن وادی محسر میں اپنی سواری کی رفتار کو تیز کر دیا اور انہیں حکم دیا کہ شیطان کو کنکر یاں ٹھیکر ی کی بنی ہوئی مارا کرو۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne rawana hote waqt apni raftar aahista rakhi aur logon ko bhi isi ka hukm diya lekin Wadi Muhassir mein apni sawari ki raftar ko tez kar diya aur unhen hukm diya ki shaitan ko kankar ya pathar ki bani hui mara karo.
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ , حَدَّثَنَا الثَّوْرِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , قَالَ:" أَفَاضَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَعَلَيْهِ السَّكِينَةُ , وَأَمَرَهُمْ بِالسَّكِينَةِ , وَأَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يَرْمُوا بِمِثْلِ حَصَى الْخَذْفِ , وَأَوْضَعَ فِي وَادِي مُحَسِّرٍ".
