Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 15261
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that, at the time of the conquest of Makkah, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) commanded Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) to go to the Ka'bah and erase all the pictures in it, and he (Sayyiduna Umar) did not enter the Ka'bah until all the pictures in it had been erased.

سیدنا جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے فتح مکہ کے زمانے میں سیدنا عمر کو حکم دیا کہ خانہ کعبہ پہنچ کر اس میں موجود تمام تصویریں مٹا ڈالیں اور اس وقت تک آپ خانہ کعبہ میں داخل نہیں ہوئے جب تک اس میں موجود تمام تصویروں کو مٹا نہیں دیا گیا۔
Sayyidna Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Fath Makkah ke zamane mein Sayyidna Umar ko hukum diya ki Khana Kaba pahunch kar us mein mojood tamam tasveerein mita dalain aur us waqt tak aap Khana Kaba mein dakhil nahin huye jab tak us mein mojood tamam tasveeron ko mita nahin diya gaya.
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ , حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ , عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ , عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ , قَالَ: كَانَ فِي الْكَعْبَةِ صُوَرٌ ," فَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ أَنْ يَمْحُوَهَا , فَبَلَّ عُمَرُ ثَوْبًا وَمَحَاهَا بِهِ , فَدَخَلَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , وَمَا فِيهَا مِنْهَا شَيْءٌ".
