Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 16052
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Sa'idi that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The best family among the Ansar is Banu Najjar, then Banu 'Abd al-Ashhal, then Banu Harith ibn Khazraj, then Banu Sa'idah, and indeed there is goodness and blessings in every house of the Ansar." Upon this, Sayyiduna Sa'd ibn 'Abadah began to say, "I think that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) has given them superiority over us. He has told them that you have been given superiority over many people."

سیدنا ابواسید ساعدی سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: انصار کا سب سے بہترین گھرانا بنونجار ہے پھر بنوعبدالاشہل پھر بنوحارث بن خزرج پھر بنوساعدہ اور بلکہ انصار کے ہر گھر میں ہی خیروبرکت ہے اس پر سیدنا سعد بن عبادہ کہنے لگے کہ میں تو یہ سمجھتاہوں کہ نبی ﷺ نے انہیں ہم پر فضیلت دی ہے انہیں بتایا ہے کہ تم لوگوں کو بہت سوں پر فضیلت دی گئی ہے۔
Sayyidna Abu Saeed Saidi se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Ansar ka sab se behtarin gharana Banu Najjar hai phir Banu Abd al-Ashhal phir Banu Harith bin Khazraj phir Banu Sa'ida aur balkay Ansar ke har ghar mein hi khair o barkat hai is par Sayyidna Sa'd bin Ubadah kehne lage ki mein to yeh samajhta hun ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne inhen hum par fazilat di hai inhen bataya hai ki tum logon ko bahut son par fazilat di gai hai.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي أُسَيْدٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" خَيْرُ الْأَنْصَارِ بَنُو النَّجَّارِ، ثُمَّ بَنُو عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ، ثُمَّ بَنُو الْحَارِثِ بْنِ الْخَزْرَجِ، ثُمَّ بَنُو سَاعِدَةَ، وَفِي كُلِّ الْأَنْصَارِ خَيْرٌ".
