Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 16793
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mughaffal Mazni, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, forbade combing the hair except occasionally.

سیدنا عبداللہ بن مغفل مزنی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے کنگھی کرنے سے منع فرمایا ہے، الاّ یہ کہ کبھی کبھار ہو۔
Sayyidna Abdullah bin Mughaffal Mazni (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne kanghi karne se mana farmaya hai, illa yeh ki kabhi kabhar ho.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُغَفَّلٍ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" نَهَى عَنِ التَّرَجُّلِ إِلَّا غِبًّا".
