Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 17129
Narrated by Sayyiduna Shaddad bin Aus (may Allah be pleased with him), that once, on the eighteenth night of Ramadan, I was having cupping done when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) passed by me in the area of Baqi'. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "The fast of both the one who does cupping and the one who has cupping done is broken."

سیدنا شداد بن اوس رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک دفعہ میں رمضان المبارک کی اٹھارویں رات کو سینگی لگوا رہا تھا کہ نبی ﷺ میرے پاس سے مقام بقیع میں گزرے، نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”سینگی لگانے والے اور لگوانے والے دونوں کا روزہ ٹوٹ جاتا ہے۔“
Sayyiduna Shaddad bin Aus RA se marvi hai keh ek dafa main Ramadan ul Mubarak ki 18th raat ko singi lagwa raha tha keh Nabi SAW mere pass se maqam Baqee mein guzre, Nabi SAW ne farmaya: “SIngi lagane wale aur lagwane wale dono ka roza toot jata hai."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ وَهُوَ أَبُو قِلَابَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَشْعَثِ الصَّنْعَانِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ الرَّحَبِيِّ ، عَنْ شَدَّادِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ ، قَالَ: مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَلَيَّ وَأَنَا أَحْتَجِمُ فِي ثَمَانِ عَشْرَةَ خَلَوْنَ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ، فَقَالَ: " أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ" .
