Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 17466
It is narrated on the authority of Habib bin Maslamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also gave gifts from the third after Khums.

حضرت حبیب بن مسلمہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے خمس کے بعد تہائی میں سے انعام بھی عطا فرمایا۔
Hazrat Habib bin Muslimah Radi Allaho Anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi sallallaho alaihi wasallam ne khums ke baad tehtai mein se inaam bhi ata farmaya.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ سعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَكْحُولٌ , عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ جَارِيَةَ ، عن حَبِيبِ بْنِ مَسْلَمَةَ ،" أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَفَّلَ الثُّلُثَ بَعْدَ الْخُمُسِ" .
