Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1797
It is narrated by Fadl bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) met Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) in one of our villages. At that time, we had a female dog and a female donkey. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) offered the afternoon prayer, and they remained in front of him, but neither were they removed nor was any attempt made to shoo them away.

سیدنا فضل بن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے ہمارے کسی دیہات میں سیدنا عباس رضی اللہ عنہ سے ملاقات فرمائی، اس وقت ہمارے پاس ایک مؤنث کتا اور ایک مؤنث گدھا تھا، نبی ﷺ نے عصر کی نماز پڑھی تو وہ نبی ﷺ کے سامنے ہی رہے لیکن نہ تو انہیں ہٹایا گیا اور نہ ہی انہیں ڈانٹ کر بھگانے کی کوشش کی گئی۔
Sayyidina Fazl bin Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne hamare kisi dehaat mein Sayyidina Abbas (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se mulaqat farmai, us waqt hamare pass ek monis kutta aur ek monis gadha tha, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Asr ki namaz parhi to wo Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke samne hi rahe lekin na to unhen hataya gaya aur na hi unhen daant kar bhagane ki koshish ki gai.
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ ، قَالَ: قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ , أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ عَبَّاسِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ:" زَارَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَبَّاسًا فِي بَادِيَةٍ لَنَا، وَلَنَا كُلَيْبَةٌ وَحِمَارَةٌ تَرْعَى، فَصَلَّى النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْعَصْرَ، وَهُمَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، فَلَمْ تُؤَخَّرَا وَلَمْ تُزْجَرَا".
