Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 18145
Narrated by Mughira (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he was on a journey with the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went to a valley to relieve himself. When he came back, he performed ablution and took off his leather socks and performed ablution. After completing the ablution, he felt the urge to pass wind, so he went back again and performed ablution, but this time he wiped over his leather socks. I said, "O Messenger of Allah! Perhaps you forgot that you did not take off your leather socks?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Certainly not, you are mistaken. My Lord has commanded me to do so."

حضرت مغیرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک وہ نبی کریم ﷺ کے ساتھ کسی سفر میں تھے نبی کریم ﷺ ایک وادی میں قضاء حاجت کے لئے تشریف لے گئے وہاں سے واپس آکر وضو کیا اور موزے اتار کر وضو کیا وضو سے فارغ ہونے کے بعد خروج ریح کا احساس ہوا تو دوربارہ چلے گئے واپس آکر وضو کیا اور اس مرتبہ موزوں پر ہی مسح کرلیا میں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ! شاید آپ بھول گئے کہ آپ نے موزے نہیں اتارے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا قطعاً نہیں تم بھول گئے ہو مجھے تو میرے رب نے یہی حکم دیا ہے۔
Hazrat Mugheera Razi Allahu Anhu se marvi hai ki aik woh Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke sath kisi safar mein thay Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) aik wadi mein Qaza Hajat ke liye tashreef le gaye wahan se wapas aakar wuzu kiya aur mozay utar kar wuzu kiya wuzu se farigh hone ke bad khurooj reeh ka ehsas hua to dobara chalay gaye wapas aakar wuzu kiya aur is martaba mozon par hi masah karliya maine arz kiya Ya Rasulullah shayad aap bhul gaye ki aap ne mozay nahi utaray Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya qatan nahi tum bhul gaye ho mujhe to mere rab ne yahi hukum diya
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا بُكَيْرٌ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي نُعْمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُغِيرَةُ بْنُ شُعْبَةَ ، أَنَّهُ سَافَرَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَدَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَادِيًا، فَقَضَى حَاجَتَهُ، ثُمَّ خَرَجَ فَأَتَاهُ، فَتَوَضَّأَ، فَخَلَعَ خُفَّيْهِ، فَتَوَضَّأَ، فَلَمَّا فَرَغَ، وَجَدَ رِيحًا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ، فَعَادَ فَخَرَجَ، فَتَوَضَّأَ، وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ، فَقُلْتُ: يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ، نَسِيتَ، لَمْ تَخْلَعْ الْخُفَّيْنِ، قَالَ:" كَلَّا، بَلْ أَنْتَ نَسِيتَ، بِهَذَا أَمَرَنِي رَبِّي عَزَّ وَجَلَّ" .
