Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 18168
It is narrated on the authority of Mughirah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Saad bin Ubadah (may Allah be pleased with him) said that if I were to see a strange man with my wife, I would cut off his neck with my sword. When this reached the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), he said, "Are you surprised by the jealousy of Saad? By Allah! I am the most jealous of all of them, and Allah is more jealous than me." That is why He has forbidden both outward and inward obscenities, and there is no one more jealous than Allah. There is no one who loves to pardon more than Allah, and that is why He has promised Paradise. This hadith is also narrated from this other chain of narration. Abdullah Qawariri (may Allah have mercy on him) said that there is no hadith more severe than this in the eyes of the Jahmiyyah sect, that Allah Almighty is not someone who loves praise more than Allah.

حضرت مغیرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت سعد بن عبادہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ اگر میں اپنی بیوی کے ساتھ کسی اجنبی مرد کو دیکھ لو تو تلوار سے اس کی گردن اڑادوں نبی کریم ﷺ تک یہ بات پہنچی تو فرمایا کہ تم سعد کی غیرت سے تعجب کرتے ہو؟ بخدا! میں ان سب سے زیادہ غیور ہوں اور اللہ مجھ سے زیادہ غیور ہے اسی بناء پر اس نے ظاہری اور باطنی فواحش کو حرام قرار دیا اور اللہ سے زیادہ غیرت مند کوئی شخص نہیں ہوسکتا اللہ سے زیادہ عذر کو پسند کرنے والا کوئی شخص نہیں ہوسکتا، اسی وجہ سے اللہ نے جنت کا وعدہ فرمایا ہے۔ گزشتہ حدیث اس دوسری سند سے بھی مروی ہے۔ عبیداللہ قواریری رحمہ اللہ کہتے ہیں کہ اس حدیث سے زیادہ سخت حدیث فرقہ جہمیہ کے نزدیک کوئی نہیں ہے کہ اللہ تعالیٰ کوئی شخص ایسا نہیں ہے جسے اللہ سے زیادہ تعریف پسند ہو۔
Hazrat Mugheerah Radi Allaho Anhu se marvi hai ki aik martaba Hazrat Saad bin Ubadah Radi Allaho Anhu ne kaha ki agar mein apni biwi ke sath kisi ajnabi mard ko dekh loon to talwar se uski gardan uraa doon Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam tak yeh baat pahunchi to farmaya ki tum Saad ki ghairat se taajjub karte ho? Bykhoda! Mein in sab se zyada ghairu hun aur Allah mujhse zyada ghairu hai isi bunya par usne zahiri aur batini fawahish ko haram qarar diya aur Allah se zyada ghairatmand koi shakhs nahi hosakta Allah se zyada uzr ko pasand karne wala koi shakhs nahi hosakta, isi wajah se Allah ne jannat ka wada farmaya hai. Guzishta hadees is dusri sanad se bhi marvi hai. Abdullah Quwariri Rahmatullah Alaih kehte hain ki is hadees se zyada sakht hadees firqa jahmiya ke nazdeek koi nahi hai ki Allah Ta'ala koi shakhs aisa nahi hai jise Allah se zyada tareef pasand ho.
حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ ، عَنْ وَرَّادٍ كَاتِبِ الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ ، قَالَ سَعْدُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ: لَوْ رَأَيْتُ رَجُلًا مَعَ امْرَأَتِي لَضَرَبْتُهُ بِالسَّيْفِ غَيْرَ مُصْفَحٍ، فَبَلَغَ ذَلِكَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ:" أَتَعْجَبُونَ مِنْ غَيْرَةِ سَعْدٍ، وَاللَّهِ لَأَنَا أَغْيَرُ مِنْهُ، وَاللَّهُ أَغْيَرُ مِنِّي، وَمِنْ أَجْلِ غَيْرَةِ اللَّهِ حَرَّمَ الْفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ، وَلَا شَخْصَ أَغْيَرُ مِنَ اللَّهِ، وَلَا شَخْصَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِ الْعُذْرُ مِنَ اللَّهِ، مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ بَعَثَ اللَّهُ الْمُرْسَلِينَ مُبَشِّرِينَ وَمُنْذِرِينَ، وَلَا شَخْصَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِ مِدْحَةٌ مِنَ اللَّهِ، مِنْ أَجْلِ ذَلِكَ وَعَدَ اللَّهُ الْجَنَّةَ" ..
