Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 18250
Adi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that once I asked in the court of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "O Messenger of Allah! When we hunt, sometimes we do not find a knife, only a sharp stone or a sharp edge of a stick. What should we do?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Take the name of Allah and make the animal bleed with whatever you have."

حضرت عدی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے ایک مرتبہ بارگاہ رسالت میں عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ ﷺ ! ہم جب شکار کرتے ہیں تو بعض اوقات چھری نہیں ملتی صرف نوکیلے پتھر یا لاٹھی کی تیز دھار ہوتی ہے تو کیا کریں؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اللہ کا نام لے کر جس چیز سے بھی چاہو خون بہادو۔
Hazrat Adi RA se marvi hai ki maine ek martaba bargah risalat mein arz kiya Ya Rasulullah SAW hum jab shikar karte hain to baaz auqat churi nahi milti sirf nokile pathar ya lathi ki tez dhaar hoti hai to kya karen? Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya Allah ka naam lekar jis cheez se bhi chaho khoon bahado.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ مُرَيِّ بْنِ قَطَرِيٍّ ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ الطَّائِيِّ ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنَّا نَصِيدُ الصَّيْدَ، فَلَا نَجِدُ سِكِّينًا إِلَّا الظِّرَارَ، وَشِقَّةَ الْعَصَا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَمَرَّ الدَّمَ بِمَا شِئْتَ، وَاذْكُرْ اسْمَ اللَّهِ" .
