Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 18454
It is narrated by Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he went to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). The Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) were sitting there as if birds were perched on their heads. I also greeted the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and sat down. Meanwhile, some villagers came and asked the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "O Messenger of Allah! Can we seek treatment?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "Yes! Seek treatment, for Allah Almighty has not created any disease for which He has not created a cure, except for one disease: ‘old age’.” That is why Usama (may Allah be pleased with him) would say to people in his old age, "Can you find any cure for me now?" Then those who had come inquired of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about some things, asking, "Is there any harm in such and such a thing?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "O servants of Allah! Allah has removed hardship except for the one who unjustly disgraces a Muslim, for it is a sin and a cause of destruction." They asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What is the best thing that has been given to man?" The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "Good character."

حضرت اسامہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا تو وہاں صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہ ایسے بیٹھے ہوئے تھے جیسے ان کے سروں پر پرندے بیٹھے ہوں میں بھی نبی کریم ﷺ کو سلام کرکے بیٹھ گیا اسی دوران کچھ دیہاتی لوگ آئے اور نبی کریم ﷺ سے یہ سوال پوچھا کہ یا رسول اللہ! کیا ہم علاج معالجہ کرسکتے ہیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا ہاں! علاج کیا کرو کیونکہ اللہ تعالیٰ نے کوئی بیماری ایسی نہیں رکھی جس کا علاج نہ رکھا ہو سوائے ایک بیماری ' بڑھاپے " کے اسی وجہ سے حضرت اسامہ رضی اللہ عنہ اپنے بڑھاپے میں لوگوں سے کہتے تھے کہ اب تمہیں میرے لئے کوئی دوا مل سکتی ہے؟ پھر ان آنے والوں نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے کچھ چیزوں کے متعلق دریافت کیا کہ کیا فلاں فلاں چیز میں ہم پر کوئی حرج تو نہیں ہے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا بندگان خدا! اللہ نے حرج کو ختم فرمادیا ہے سوائے اس شخص کے جو کسی مسلمان کی ظلماً آبروریزی کرتا ہے کہ یہ گناہ اور باعث ہلاکت ہے، انہوں نے پوچھا یا رسول اللہ ﷺ ! انسان کو سب سے بہترین کون سی چیز دی گئی ہے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا حسن اخلاق۔
Hazrat Osama Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ke ek martaba main Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir hua to wahan Sahaba Karam Radi Allaho Anhum aise baithe hue the jaise un ke saron per parinde baithe hon main bhi Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ko salam karke baith gaya isi doran kuch dehati log aaye aur Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam se ye sawal poocha ke Ya Rasool Allah kya hum elaj moalja karsakte hain Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya haan elaj kya karo kyunki Allah Ta'ala ne koi bimari aisi nahin rakhi jis ka elaj na rakha ho siwaye ek bimari 'budhape' ke isi wajah se Hazrat Osama Radi Allaho Anho apne budhape mein logon se kehte the ke ab tumhen mere liye koi dawa mil sakti hai phir un aane walon ne Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam se kuch cheezon ke mutalliq daryaft kiya ke kya falan falan cheez mein hum per koi harj to nahin hai Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya bandgan Khuda Allah ne harj ko khatam farmadiya hai siwaye us shakhs ke jo kisi musalman ki zulman abroorizi karta hai ke ye gunah aur baais halakat hai unhon ne poocha Ya Rasool Allah Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam insan ko sab se behtarin kon si cheez di gai hai Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihe Wasallam ne farmaya husn akhlaq.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ ، قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَأَصْحَابُهُ عِنْدَهُ، كَأَنَّمَا عَلَى رُءُوسِهِمْ الطَّيْرُ، قَالَ: فَسَلَّمْتُ عَلَيْهِ، وَقَعَدْتُ، قَالَ: فَجَاءَتْ الْأَعْرَابُ، فَسَأَلُوهُ فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، نَتَدَاوَى؟ قَالَ:" نَعَمْ، تَدَاوَوْا، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لَمْ يَضَعْ دَاءً إِلَّا وَضَعَ لَهُ دَوَاءً غَيْرَ دَاءٍ وَاحِدٍ الْهَرَمُ" . قَال وَكَانَ أُسَامَةُ حِينَ كَبِرَ يَقُولُ: هَلْ تَرَوْنَ لِي مِنْ دَوَاءٍ الْآنَ؟! قَال: وَسَأَلُوهُ عَنْ أَشْيَاءَ، هَلْ عَلَيْنَا حَرَجٌ فِي كَذَا وَكَذَا. قَالَ:" عِبَادَ اللَّهِ، وَضَعَ اللَّهُ الْحَرَجَ إِلَّا امْرَأً اقْتَرضَ امْرَأً مُسْلِمًا ظُلْمًا، فَذَلِكَ حَرَجٌ وَهُلْكٌ" . قَالُوا: مَا خَيْرُ مَا أُعْطِيَ النَّاسُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ: " خُلُقٌ حَسَنٌ" .
