Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 18453
It is narrated on the authority of Usama bin Shariq (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I was in the presence of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and the Companions (may Allah be pleased with them) were sitting as if birds were perched on their heads.

حضرت اسامہ بن شریک رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا تو صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہ ایسے بیٹھے ہوئے تھے جیسے ان کے سروں پر پرندے بیٹھے ہوں۔
Hazrat Usama bin Shareek Radi Allaho Anhu se marvi hai keh aik martaba mein Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ki khidmat mein hazir hua to Sahaba Ikram Radi Allaho Anhum aise baithe hue the jaise un ke saron par parinde baithe hon.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ ، عَنْ زِيَادِ بْنِ عِلَاقَةَ ، عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ شَرِيكٍ ، قَالَ: أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَإِذَا " أَصْحَابُهُ كَأَنَّمَا عَلَى رُءُوسِهِمْ الطَّيْرُ" .
