Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 18468
Narrated Bara Bin Aazib (may Allah be pleased with him): I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reciting this couplet at the occasion of the Battle of Hunayn, "Verily, I am the Prophet; there is no falsehood in it. I am the son of Abdul Muttalib."

حضرت براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو غزوہ حنین کے موقع پر یہ شعر پڑھتے ہوئے سنا کہ میں حقیقی نبی ہوں اس میں کوئی جھوٹ نہیں میں عبدالمطلب کا بیٹا ہوں۔
Hazrat Bara bin Aazib (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ke maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko Ghazwa Hunain ke mauke par yeh sher parhte huye suna ke mein haqeeqi nabi hun is mein koi jhoot nahi mein Abd ul Muttalib ka beta hun.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، وَإِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ: " أَنَا النَّبِيُّ لَا كَذِبْ أَنَا ابْنُ عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبْ" .
