Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 18482
It is narrated on the authority of Bara (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: When a person is questioned in the grave and he recognizes his Lord, this is the meaning of the verse in which Allah Almighty says that He keeps the believers firm on the "established word" in this world and the hereafter.

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا قبر میں جب انسان سے سوال ہو اور وہ اپنے رب کو پہچان لے تو یہی مطلب ہے اس آیت کا کہ اللہ تعالیٰ دنیا و آخرت میں اہل ایمان کو '' ثابت شدہ قول " پر ثابت قدم رکھتا۔
Hazrat Bara Radi Allaho Anho Se Marvi Ke Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam Ne Irshad Farmaya Qabar Mein Jab Insan Se Sawal Ho Aur Woh Apne Rab Ko Pehchan Le To Yahi Matlab Hai Is Aayat Ka Ke Allah Ta'ala Dunya-o-Akhirat Mein Ahle Imaan Ko "Sabit Shuda Qoul" Par Sabit Qadam Rakhta.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ: عَلْقَمَةُ بْنُ مَرْثَدٍ أَخْبَرَنِي، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ فِي الْقَبْرِ: " إِذَا سُئِلَ فَعَرَفَ رَبَّهُ. قَالَ: وَقَالَ شيئًا لا أَحْفَظُهُ، فَذَلِكَ قَوْلُهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: يُثَبِّتُ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِالْقَوْلِ الثَّابِتِ فِي الْحَيَاةِ الدُّنْيَا وَفِي الآخِرَةِ سورة إبراهيم آية 27" .
