Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 18493
Bura' (may Allah be pleased with him) said, “We did not hear all the hadiths directly from the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Our companions also narrated hadiths to us. We could not be in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) very often because we used to graze camels.”

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ ساری حدیثیں ہم نے نبی کریم ﷺ ہی سے نہیں سنیں ہمارے ساتھی بھی ہم سے احادیث بیان کرتے تھے اونٹوں کو چرانے کی وجہ سے ہم نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں بہت زیادہ حاضر نہیں ہوپاتے تھے۔
Hazrat Bara RA farmate hain ke sari hadithen hum ne Nabi Kareem SAW hi se nahin suni humaray sathi bhi hum se ahadith bayan karte thay oonton ko charane ki waja se hum Nabi Kareem SAW ki khidmat mein bohat ziada hazir nahin ho patay thay.
حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ ، قَالَ: " مَا كُلُّ الْحَدِيثِ سَمِعْنَاهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، كَانَ يُحَدِّثُنَا أَصْحَابُنَا عَنْهُ، كَانَتْ تَشْغَلُنَا عَنْهُ رَعِيَّةُ الْإِبِلِ" .
