Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 18495
It is narrated on the authority of Bara (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: It is the right of Muslims that every one of them should take a bath on Friday, apply perfume, provided that it is available. If there is no perfume, then water is enough to cleanse.

حضرت براء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا مسلمانوں پر یہ حق ہے کہ ان میں سے ہر ایک جمعہ کے دن غسل کرے خوشبو لگائے بشرطیکہ موجود بھی ہو اگر خوشبو نہ ہو تو پانی ہی بہت پاک کرنے والا ہے۔
Hazrat Bara RA se marvi hai keh Nabi Kareem SAW ne irshad farmaya Musalmanon per yeh haq hai keh in mein se har ek juma ke din gusl kare khushbu lagaye basharte keh mojood bhi ho agar khushbu na ho to pani hi bohat pak karne wala hai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مِنَ الْحَقِّ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ أَنْ يَغْتَسِلَ وَيَمَسَّ طِيبًا إِنْ وَجَدَ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ طِيبًا، فَالْمَاءُ طِيبٌ" .
