The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1856
It is narrated by Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that once Saab bin Jaththama Asadi presented a zebra's leg to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). At that time, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was in the state of Ihram. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) returned it, saying, "We are in Ihram."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت صعب بن جثامہ اسدی نے نبی ﷺ کی خدمت میں گورخر کی ٹانگ پیش کی، اس وقت نبی ﷺ احرام کی حالت میں تھے، نبی ﷺ نے وہ واپس لوٹا کر فرمایا کہ ”ہم محرم ہیں۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki ek martaba Hazrat Saab bin Jushamah Asadi ne Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein Gorakhhar ki taang pesh ki, us waqt Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ehram ki halat mein thay, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne woh wapas luta kar farmaya ki "Hum muhrim hain."
حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ ، أَنْبَأَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي زِيَادٍ ، عَنْ مِقْسَمٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، أَنَّ الصَّعْبَ بْنَ جَثَّامَةَ الْأَسْدِيَّ أَهْدَى إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رِجْلَ حِمَارِ وَحْشٍ، وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَرَدَّهُ، وَقَالَ:" إِنَّا مُحْرِمُونَ".
