Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 18924
It is narrated on the authority of Masroor (may Allah be pleased with him) and Marwan (may Allah be pleased with him) that in the year of Hudaibiyah, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) set out with over a thousand companions (may Allah be pleased with them). Upon reaching Dhu al-Hulaifah, they put garlands around the necks of the sacrificial animals, marked them (as offerings for sacrifice) and assumed the state of Ihram from there. Then, after sending a scout ahead, they themselves set out on their journey.

حضرت مسور رضی اللہ عنہ اور مروان رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ حدیبیہ کے سال ایک ہزار سے اوپر صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہ کو ساتھ لے کر نکلے ذوالحلیفہ پہنچ کر ہدی کے جانور کے گلے میں قلادہ باندھا اس کا شعار کیا اور وہاں سے احرام باندھ لیا اور اپنے آگے ایک جاسوس بھیج کر خود بھی روانہ ہوگئے۔
Hazrat Masoor RA aur Marwan RA se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem SAW Hudaibiya ke saal ek hazaar se upar sahaba kiram RA ko saath lekar nikle Zulhulayfah pahonch kar hadi ke janwar ke gale mein qilaada bandha iska shiyar kiya aur wahan se ehram bandh liya aur apne aage ek jasoos bhej kar khud bhi rawana hogaye.
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِ ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ مَرْوَانَ ، وَالْمِسْوَرِ بْنِ مَخْرَمَةَ ، يَزِيدُ أحدهما على صاحبه:" خرج رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَامَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ فِي بِضْعَ عَشْرَةَ مِئَةً مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ، قَلَّدَ الْهَدْيَ، وَأَشْعَرَ، وَأَحْرَمَ مِنْهَا، وَقَالَ سُفْيَانُ مَرَّةً: بالعُمْرَةٍ وَلَمْ يُسَمِّ الْمِسْوَرَ، وَبَعَثَ عَيْنًا لَهُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، فَسَارَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَتَّى إِذَا..." .
