Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 1898
Narrated by Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was in a place called Rauha when he met a group of riders. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) greeted them with salam and said: "Who are you?" They said: "Muslims". Then they asked, "Who are you?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "I am the Messenger of Allah". Upon hearing this, a woman quickly went, grabbed her child, took him out of his cradle, and said, "O Messenger of Allah! Can this be his Hajj?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Yes! And you will be rewarded for it."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ روحاء نامی جگہ میں تھے کہ سواروں کی ایک جماعت سے ملاقات ہوئی، نبی ﷺ نے انہیں سلام کیا اور فرمایا: ”آپ لوگ کون ہیں؟“ انہوں نے کہا: مسلمان، پھر انہوں نے پوچھا کہ آپ کون لوگ ہیں؟ تو نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”میں اللہ کا پیغمبر ہوں“، یہ سنتے ہی ایک عورت جلدی سے گئی، اپنے بچے کا ہاتھ پکڑا، اسے اپنی پالکی میں سے نکالا اور کہنے لگی کہ یا رسول اللہ! کیا اس کا حج ہو سکتا ہے؟ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا: ”ہاں! اور تمہیں اس کا اجر ملے گا۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Roha naam jaga mein the ki sawalon ki aik jamaat se mulaqat hui, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne unhen salam kiya aur farmaya: "Aap log kaun hain?" Unhon ne kaha: Musalman, phir unhon ne poocha ki aap kaun log hain? To Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Main Allah ka paighambar hun", ye sunte hi ek aurat jaldi se gayi, apne bache ka hath pakda, usay apni palki mein se nikala aur kehne lagi ki Ya Rasulullah! kya iska Hajj ho sakta hai? Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya: "Haan! Aur tumhen iska ajr milega."
حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ ، عَنْ كُرَيْبٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالرَّوْحَاءِ، فَلَقِيَ رَكْبًا فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ، فَقَالَ:" مَنَ الْقَوْمُ؟" , قَالُوا: الْمُسْلِمُونَ، قَالُوا فَمَنْ أَنْتُمْ؟: قَالَ:" رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" , فَفَزِعَتْ امْرَأَةٌ، فَأَخَذَتْ بِعَضُدِ صَبِيٍّ، فَأَخْرَجَتْهُ مِنْ مِحَفَّتِهَا، فَقَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، هَلْ لِهَذَا حَجٌّ؟ قَالَ:" نَعَمْ، وَلَكِ أَجْرٌ".
