Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 19237
Hamam narrates that once Jarir (may Allah be pleased with him) urinated, performed ablution and wiped over his socks. Someone asked him, "How are you wiping over your socks when you have just urinated?" He replied, "Yes! I have seen the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) himself urinating, performing ablution and wiping over his socks."

ہمام کہتے ہیں کہ ایک مرتبہ حضرت جریر رضی اللہ عنہ نے پیشاب کرکے وضو کیا اور اپنے موزوں پر مسح کیا کسی نے ان سے کہا کہ آپ موزوں پر مسح کیسے کررہے ہیں جبکہ ابھی تو آپ نے پیشاب کیا ہے؟ انہوں نے فرمایا ہاں! میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو بھی دیکھا ہے کہ انہوں نے پیشاب کرکے وضو کیا اور اپنے موزوں پر مسح فرمایا۔
Hamam kehte hain ki aik martaba Hazrat Jarir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ne peshab karke wuzu kiya aur apne mozon par masah kiya kisi ne unse kaha ki aap mozon par masah kaise kar rahe hain jabke abhi to aap ne peshab kiya hai? Unhon ne farmaya haan! main ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko bhi dekha hai ki unhon ne peshab karke wuzu kiya aur apne mozon par masah farmaya.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ ، أَنَّ جَرِيرًا " بَالَ قَائِمًا، ثُمَّ تَوَضَّأَ وَمَسَحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ، وَصَلَّى، فَسَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ ذَلِكَ، فَذَكَرَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ فَعَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ" .
