Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 19377
It was narrated from Adi (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever among you can save himself from the Hellfire, even with half a date, should do so."

حضرت عدی رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا تم میں سے جو شخص جہنم سے بچ سکتا ہو خواہ کھجور کے ایک ٹکڑے ہی کے عوض تو وہ ایساہی کرے۔
Hazrat Adi raza Allah anhu se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya tum mein se jo shakhs jahannum se bach sakta ho chahe khajoor ke aik tukre hi ke awaz to wo aisa hi kare.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَعْقِلٍ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَدِيَّ بْنَ حَاتِمٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " اتَّقُوا النَّارَ وَلَوْ بِشِقِّ تَمْرَةٍ" .
