Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 19409
Narrated by Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! I am unable to memorize anything from the Quran. So teach me something that will suffice me." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Say: *SubhanAllah, walhamdulillah, wa la ilaha illallah, wallahu akbar, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah* (Glory be to Allah, and praise be to Allah, and there is no god but Allah, and Allah is the Greatest, and there is no might nor power except with Allah)." He said: "O Messenger of Allah! This is for Allah, what about for me?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Say: *Allahummaghfirli, warhamni, wa'afini, wahdini, warzuqni* (O Allah! Forgive me, have mercy on me, grant me well-being, guide me, and provide for me)." Then the man turned and left with his hands clasped tightly. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "This man has left with his hands full of good." Narrated by Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, while I was in the company of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), a young slave boy came and said: "O Messenger of Allah! This is an orphan boy whose wife, mother, and an orphaned sister are with him. Feed us from what Allah has provided you with. May Allah grant you from Himself until you are pleased." Then the narrator mentioned the rest of the Hadith. Narrated by Ibn Abi Awfa (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah! Here is a boy who is near death. He is being reminded to say *La ilaha illallah* but he is unable to utter it." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked: "Did he not use to say it during his life?" He said: "Yes, he did." The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Then something has prevented him from saying it at the time of his death...” Then the narrator mentioned the rest of the Hadith. **Benefit:** Abdullah, the son of Imam Ahmad, said: "My father did not narrate these two Hadiths orally, but he wrote them in his book and then deleted them because he did not have confidence in the narrations of Fa'id ibn 'Abd al-Rahman and considered him to be a weak narrator."

حضرت ابن ابی اوفیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ ﷺ ! میں قرآن کریم کا تھوڑا ساحصہ بھی یاد نہیں کرسکتا، اس لئے مجھے کوئی ایسی چیز سکھا دیجئے جو میرے لئے کافی ہو نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا یوں کہہ لیا کرو سبحان اللہ والحمدللہ ولا الہ الا اللہ واللہ اکبر ولاحول ولاقوۃ الاباللہ اس نے کہا یا رسول اللہ! یہ تو اللہ تعالیٰ کے لئے ہے میرے لئے کیا ہے؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا یوں کہہ لیا کرو اے اللہ! مجھے معاف فرما، مجھ پر رحم فرما، مجھے عافیت عطاء فرما، مجھے ہدایت عطاء فرما اور مجھے رزق عطاء فرما، پھر وہ آدمی پلٹ کر چلا گیا اور اس نے اپنے دونوں ہاتھوں کو مضبوطی سے بند کر رکھا تھا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ یہ شخص تو اپنے ہاتھ خیر سے بھر کر چلا گیا۔ حضرت ابن ابی اوفیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر تھا کہ ایک غلام (لڑکا) آیا اور کہنے لگا یا رسول اللہ ﷺ ! یہ ایک یتیم لڑکا ہے جس کی بیوی، ماں اور ایک یتیم بہن ہے آپ ہمیں ان چیزوں میں سے کھلائیے جو اللہ نے آپ کو کھلائی ہیں، اللہ آپ کو اپنے پاس سے اتنا دے کہ آپ راضی ہوجائیں پھر راوی نے مکمل حدیث ذکر کی۔ حضرت ابن ابی اوفیٰ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک آدمی نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا اور کہنے لگا یا رسول اللہ! یہاں ایک لڑکا ہے جو قریب المرگ ہے اسے لا الہ الا اللہ کی تلقین کی جارہی ہے لیکن وہ اسے کہہ نہیں پارہا نبی کریم ﷺ نے پوچھا کیا وہ اپنی زندگی میں یہ کلمہ نہیں پڑھتا تھا؟ اس نے کہا کیوں نہیں نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا پھر موت کے وقت اسے کسی نے روک دیا۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ پھر راوی نے مکمل حدیث ذکر کی۔ فائدہ۔ امام احمد کے صاحبزادے عبداللہ کہتے ہیں کہ میرے والد صاحب نے یہ دونوں حدیثیں بیان نہیں کی ہیں البتہ کتاب میں لکھ دی تھیں اور انہیں کاٹ دیا تھا کیونکہ انہیں فائد بن عبدالرحمن کی احادیث پر اعتماد نہیں تھا اور ان کے نزدیک وہ متروک الحدیث تھا۔
Hazrat Ibn Abi Aufa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek aadmi Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur arz kiya Ya Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)! mein Quran Kareem ka thoda sahisa bhi yaad nahi kar sakta, is liye mujhe koi aisi cheez sikha dijiye jo mere liye kaafi ho. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya yun kah liya karo Subhan Allah walhamdulillah wala ilaha illallah wallahu akbar wala hawla wala quwwata illa billah. Usne kaha Ya Rasul Allah! yeh to Allah Ta'ala ke liye hai mere liye kya hai? Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya yun kah liya karo Aye Allah! mujhe maaf farma, mujh par reham farma, mujhe afiyat ata farma, mujhe hidayat ata farma aur mujhe rizq ata farma, phir wo aadmi palat kar chala gaya aur usne apne donon hathon ko mazbooti se band kar rakha tha. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki yeh shakhs to apne hath khair se bhar kar chala gaya. Hazrat Ibn Abi Aufa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek martaba mein Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir tha ki ek ghulam (ladka) aaya aur kahne laga Ya Rasul Allah (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)! yeh ek yateem ladka hai jis ki biwi, maan aur ek yateem bahan hai aap hamen in cheezon mein se khilaiye jo Allah ne aap ko khilaai hain, Allah aap ko apne pass se itna de ki aap raazi ho jaen phir ravi ne mukammal hadees zikar ki. Hazrat Ibn Abi Aufa (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki ek aadmi Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat mein hazir hua aur kahne laga Ya Rasul Allah! yahan ek ladka hai jo qareeb ul marg hai use la ilaha illallah ki talqeen ki ja rahi hai lekin wo use kah nahi parha. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne poocha kya wo apni zindagi mein yeh kalma nahi padhta tha? Usne kaha kyun nahi. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya phir maut ke waqt use kisi ne rok diya..... phir ravi ne mukammal hadees zikar ki. Faida. Imam Ahmad ke sahibzade Abdullah kahte hain ki mere walid sahab ne yeh donon hadithen bayan nahi ki hain albatta kitab mein likh di thi aur unhen kaat diya tha kyunki unhen Faiz bin Abdur Rahman ki ahadees par aitmad nahi tha aur un ke nazdeek wo matrook ul hadees tha.
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ ، أَخْبَرَنَا الْمَسْعُودِيُّ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَبِي إِسْمَاعِيلَ السَّكْسَكِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى ، قَالَ: أَتَى رَجُلٌ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، إِنِّي لَا أَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ، فَمُرْنِي بِمَا يُجْزِئُنِي مِنْهُ، فَقَالَ لَهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " قُلْ: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، وَسُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ"، قَالَ: فَقَالَهَا الرَّجُلُ، وَقَبَضَ كَفَّهُ، وَعَدَّ خَمْسًا مَعَ إِبْهَامِهِ، فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، هَذَا لِلَّهِ تَعَالَى، فَمَا لِنَفْسِي؟ قَالَ:" قُلْ: اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي، وَارْحَمْنِي، وَعَافِنِي، وَاهْدِنِي، وَارْزُقْنِي"، قَالَ: فَقَالَهَا، وَقَبَضَ عَلَى كَفِّهِ الْأُخْرَى، وَعَدَّ خَمْسًا مَعَ إِبْهَامِهِ، فَانْطَلَقَ الرَّجُلُ، وَقَدْ قَبَضَ كَفَّيْهِ جَمِيعًا، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" لَقَدْ مَلَأَ كَفَّيْهِ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ" ..
