Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 19858
It is narrated on the authority of Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would always encourage us to give charity and forbid us from begging.

حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ ہمیشہ اپنے خطاب میں ہمیں صدقہ کی ترغیب دیتے اور مثلہ کرنے سے منع فرماتے تھے۔
Hazrat Imran bin Haseen RA se marvi hai ke Nabi SAW hamesha apne khitab mein hamein sadqah ki targheeb dete aur mutla karne se mana farmate thay.
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ ، قَالَ:" مَا خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خُطْبَةً إِلَّا أَمَرَنَا بِالصَّدَقَةِ، وَنَهَانَا عَنِ الْمُثْلَةِ" .
