Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 19890
It is narrated on the authority of Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Today your brother Najashi has passed away, so offer his funeral prayer." So the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stood up and we formed rows behind him, then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) led his funeral prayer.

حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا آج تمہارا بھائی نجاشی فوت ہوگیا ہے لہذا اس کی نماز جنازہ پڑھو، چناچہ نبی ﷺ کھڑے ہوئے اور ہم نے پیچھے صفیں بنالیں، پھر نبی ﷺ نے اس کی نماز جنازہ پڑھا دی۔
Hazrat Imran bin Husain RA se marvi hai ki ek martaba Nabi SAW ne farmaya aaj tumhara bhai Najashi foot ho gaya hai lihaza uski namaz janaza parho, chunancha Nabi SAW kharay huay aur hum ne peechay safein banalein, phir Nabi SAW ne uski namaz janaza parha di.
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْبُوبُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَلَّبِ ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَمَّا بَلَغَهُ وَفَاةُ النَّجَاشِيِّ، قَالَ:" إِنَّ أَخَاكُمْ النَّجَاشِيَّ قَدْ مَاتَ، فَصَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ , فَقَامَ , فَصَلَّى عَلَيْهِ وَالنَّاسُ خَلْفَهُ" .
