Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 19906
It was narrated from Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "The best of this nation is my generation, then those who follow them, then those who follow them. Then there will come a people who will make promises but will not keep them, they will betray trusts, they will not be trustworthy, they will bear witness even though they have not been asked to, and obesity will become widespread amongst them."

حضرت عمران بن حصین رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا اس امت کا سب سے بہترین زمانہ تو وہ ہے جس میں مجھے مبعوث کیا گیا ہے، پھر اس کے بعد والوں کا زمانہ ہے، پھر ایک ایسی قوم آئے گی جو منت مانے گی لیکن پوری نہیں کرے گی، خیانت کرے گی، امانت دار نہ ہوگی، گواہی دینے کے لئے تیار ہوگی گو کہ اس سے گواہی نہ مانگی جائے اور ان میں موٹاپا عام ہوجائے گا۔
Hazrat Imran bin Haseen (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya is ummat ka sab se behtarin zamana to wo hai jis mein mujhe mabus kiya gaya hai, phir uske bad walon ka zamana hai, phir ek aisi qaum ayegi jo mannat mangegi lekin puri nahi karegi, khiyanat karegi, amanatdaar na hogi, gawahi dene ke liye tayyar hogi go ke us se gawahi na maangi jaye aur un mein motapa aam hojayega.
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو جَمْرَةَ ، حَدَّثَنِي زَهْدَمُ بْنُ مُضَرِّبٍ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عِمْرَانَ بْنَ حُصَيْنٍ , يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " خَيْرُكُمْ قَرْنِي ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ، لَا أَدْرِي مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثَةً ثُمَّ يَأْتِي أَوْ يَجِيءُ بَعْدَكُمْ قَوْمٌ يَنْذُرُونَ فَلَا يُوفُونَ، وَيَخُونُونَ وَلَا يُؤْتَمَنُونَ، وَيَشْهَدُونَ وَلَا يُسْتَشْهَدُونَ، وَيَفْشُو فِيهِمْ السِّمَنُ" .
