The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2052
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said regarding Laylat al-Qadr: "Seek it in the last ten nights of Ramadan, on the night when nine nights remain, or when five nights remain, or when seven nights remain."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے شب قدر کے متعلق فرمایا کہ ”اسے رمضان کے عشرہ اخیرہ میں تلاش کرو، نو راتیں باقی رہ جانے پر یا پانچ راتیں باقی رہ جانے پر، یا سات راتیں باقی رہ جانے پر۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne Shab e Qadar ke mutaliq farmaya keh "ise Ramzan ke Ashra Akhir me talash karo, nau raatein baqi reh jaane par ya paanch raatein baqi reh jaane par, ya saat raatein baqi reh jaane par."
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَيُّوبُ ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" الْتَمِسُوهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الْأَوَاخِرِ فِي تَاسِعَةٍ تَبْقَى، أَوْ خَامِسَةٍ تَبْقَى، أَوْ سَابِعَةٍ تَبْقَى".
