Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20817
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir bin Samrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying on the occasion of Hajj-e-Wida (Farewell Pilgrimage) that this religion will always prevail over its opponents. No opposition or separation will be able to harm it, until twelve Caliphs have passed away from my Ummah. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said something that I could not understand. I asked my father what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had said. He replied that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had said that all of them will be from Quraysh.

حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو حجۃ الوداع کے موقع پر یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ یہ دین ہمیشہ اپنے مخالفین پر غالب رہے گا اسے کوئی مخالفت کرنے والا یا مفارقت کرنے والانقصان نہ پہنچاسکے گا یہاں تک کہ میری امت میں بارہ خلیفہ گزرجائیں گے پھر نبی ﷺ نے کچھ کہا جو میں سمجھ نہیں سکتا میں نے اپنے والد سے پوچھا کہ نبی ﷺ نے کیا فرمایا ہے انہوں نے کہا کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ہے وہ سب کے سب قریش سے ہونگے۔
Hazrat Jabir bin Samrah RA se marvi hai ke maine Nabi SAW ko Hajjatal Wida ke mauqe par ye farmate hue suna hai ke ye Deen hamesha apne muqalifeen par ghalib rahe ga ise koi muqalifat karne wala ya mufarqat karne wala nuqsan na pohncha sake ga yahan tak ke meri ummat mein barah khalifa guzar jayen ge phir Nabi SAW ne kuch kaha jo mein samajh nahi sakta maine apne walid se pucha ke Nabi SAW ne kya farmaya hai unhon ne kaha ke Nabi SAW ne farmaya hai wo sab ke sab Quresh se honge.
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُجَالِدٌ ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ السُّوَائِيِّ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ فِي حَجَّةِ الْوَدَاعِ:" لَا يَزَالُ هَذَا الدِّينُ ظَاهِرًا عَلَى مَنْ نَاوَأَهُ، لَا يَضُرُّهُ مُخَالِفٌ وَلَا مُفَارِقٌ، حَتَّى يَمْضِيَ مِنْ أُمَّتِي اثْنَا عَشَرَ أَمِيرًا كُلُّهُمْ" ثُمَّ خَفِيَ مِنْ قَوْلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: وَكَانَ أَبِي أَقْرَبَ إِلَى رَاحِلَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنِّي، فَقُلْتُ: يَا أَبَتَاهُ، مَا الَّذِي خَفِيَ مِنْ قَوْلِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ قَالَ: يَقُولُ:" كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ" .
