The Hadith of Jabir ibn Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him)

حَدِيثُ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20886

And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would stand and deliver the sermon, and he would sit between the two sermons, and in those sermons, he would recite verses from the Holy Quran and advise the people.

اور نبی ﷺ کھڑے ہو کر خطبہ دیتے تھے اور دو خطبوں کے درمیان بیٹھتے تھے اور ان خطبوں میں قرآن کریم کی آیات تلاوت فرماتے اور لوگوں کو نصیحت فرماتے تھے۔

Aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) kharay ho kar khutba dete thay aur do khutbon ke darmiyaan baithtay thay aur in khutbon mein Quran Kareem ki ayat tilawat farmate aur logon ko nasihat farmate thay.

وَبِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ قَالَ:" كَانَتْ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خُطْبَتَانِ، يَجْلِسُ بَيْنَهُمَا يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ، وَيُذَكِّرُ النَّاسَ" .
