Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20920
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir bin Samrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard a man asking the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "Can I pray in the same clothes in which I go to my wife?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "Yes, unless you see a stain on it, then wash it."

حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے ایک آدمی کو یہ سوال نبی ﷺ سے پوچھتے ہوئے سنا کہ کیا میں ان کپڑوں میں نماز پڑھ سکتا ہوں جن میں میں اپنی بیوی کے پاس جاتا ہوں نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا کہ ہاں الاّ یہ کہ تمہیں اس پر کوئی دھبہ نظر آئے تو اسے دھولو۔
Hazrat Jabir bin Samra razi Allah anhu se marvi hai ki maine ek aadmi ko ye sawal Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se puchte hue suna ki kya main in kapdon mein namaz parh sakta hun jin mein main apni biwi ke pass jata hun Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya ki haan ila ye ki tumhen is par koi dagh nazar aaye to ise dho lo.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو أَحْمَدَ مَخْلَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ أَبِي زُمَيْلٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو الرَّقِّيَّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، قَالَ: سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُصَلِّي فِي الثَّوْبِ الَّذِي آتِي فِيهِ أَهْلِي؟ قَالَ:" نَعَمْ، إِلَّا أَنْ تَرَى فِيهِ شَيْئًا فَتَغْسِلَهُ" .
