Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 20926
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying on the occasion of Hajj-e-Wida: "This religion will always prevail over its opponents. No opponent or deserter will be able to harm it, until twelve Caliphs pass away from my Ummah.” Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said something that I could not understand. I asked my father what the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had said. He said that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had said: "All of them will be from Quraysh."

حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی ﷺ کو حجۃ الوداع کے موقع پر یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ یہ دین ہمیشہ اپنے مخالفین پر غالب رہے گا اسے کوئی مخالفت کرنے والا یا مفارقت کرنے والا نقصان نہ پہنچاسکے گا یہاں تک کہ میری امت میں بارہ خلیفہ گزر جائیں گے پھر نبی ﷺ نے کچھ کہا جو میں سمجھ نہیں سکا میں نے اپنے والد سے پوچھا کہ نبی ﷺ نے کیا فرمایا ہے انہوں نے کہا کہ نبی ﷺ نے فرمایا ہے وہ سب کے سب قریش سے ہونگے۔
Hazrat Jaber bin Samrah RA se marvi hai keh maine Nabi SAW ko Hajj-tul-wida ke moqe per yeh farmate huye suna hai keh yeh deen hamesha apne muqalifeen per ghalib rahe ga use koi muqalifat karne wala ya mufarqat karne wala nuqsan na pahuncha sake ga yahan tak keh meri ummat mein barah khalifa guzar jayen ge phir Nabi SAW ne kuchh kaha jo mein samajh nahi saka maine apne walid se poocha keh Nabi SAW ne kya farmaya hai unhon ne kaha keh Nabi SAW ne farmaya hai wo sab ke sab Quraish se honge.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْد اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا يَزَالُ هَذَا الْأَمْرُ عَزِيزًا مَنِيعًا يُنْصَرُونَ عَلَى مَنْ نَاوَأَهُمْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَى اثْنَيْ عَشَرَ خَلِيفَةً"، ثُمَّ قَالَ كَلِمَةً أَصَمَّنِيهَا النَّاسُ، فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي مَا قَالَ؟ قَالَ:" كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ قُرَيْشٍ" .
