Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 21003
It is narrated from Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) about the prayer of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to lead a light prayer and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would recite Surah Qaf and similar Surahs in Fajr. It is narrated from Jabir bin Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) that after praying Fajr, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would remain seated in his place until sunrise.

حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے نبی ﷺ کی نماز کے متعلق مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ ہلکی نماز پڑھاتے تھے اور نبی ﷺ فجر میں سورت ق اور اس جیسی سورتوں کی تلاوت فرماتے تھے۔ حضرت جابر بن سمرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نماز فجر پڑھنے کے بعد نبی ﷺ طلوع آفتاب تک اپنی جگہ پر ہی بیٹھے رہتے تھے۔
Hazrat Jabir Raziallahu Anhu se Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki namaz ke mutalliq marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) halki namaz parhate thay aur Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) Fajar mein Surah Qaf aur is jaisi suraton ki tilawat farmate thay. Hazrat Jabir bin Samrah Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki namaz Fajar parhne ke bad Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) taleh aaftab tak apni jaga par hi baithe rehte thay.
حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ زَائِدَةَ ، عَنْ سِمَاكٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَقْرَأُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ بِ" ق وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ" وَكَانَتْ صَلَاتُهُ بَعْدُ تَخْفِيفًا . وَكَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا صَلَّى الْفَجْرَ قَعَدَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ" .
