Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 21029
It is narrated on the authority of Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Adhan (call to prayer) and Iqamah (second call to prayer) were not recited in the Eid prayers during the lifetime of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
Grade: Sahih
حضرت جابر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کے سامنے عیدین کی نماز میں اذان اور اقامت نہیں ہوتی تھی۔
Hazrat Jabir (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke samne Eidain ki namaz mein azan aur iqamat nahi hoti thi.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَرِيكٌ ، عَنْ سِمَاكِ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ ، قَالَ: " لَمْ يَكُنْ يُؤَذَّنُ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَلَا يُقَامُ لَهُ فِي الْعِيدَيْنِ" .
