Hadith of Al-Tufayl ibn Ubayy ibn Ka'b from his father (may Allah be pleased with him)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 21247
And I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying, "If there had been no Hijrah (migration), I would have been one of the Ansar (residents of Medina). And if the people were to take a path and the Ansar took a different path, I would follow the path of the Ansar." (Hadith No. 21565). It is also narrated from this second chain of narration.

اور میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے کہ اگر ہجرت نہ ہوتی تو میں انصار ہی کا ایک فرد ہوتا اور اگر لوگ ایک راستے میں چلیں تو میں انصار کے ساتھ ان کے راستے پر چلوں گا۔ حدیث نمبر (٢١٥٦٥) اس دوسری سند سے بھی مروی ہے۔
aur maine nabi kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai ki agar hijrat na hoti to main ansar hi ka ek fard hota aur agar log ek raste mein chalen to main ansar ke sath unke raste par chaloon ga. hadees number (21565) is dusri sand se bhi marvi hai.
20678 حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ ، عَنْ الطُّفَيْلِ بْنِ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْقِيَامَةِ، كُنْتُ إِمَامَ النَّبِيِّينَ" فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ.
