Hadith of Abu Dhar Al-Ghifari (may Allah be pleased with him)
حَدِيثُ أَبِي ذَرٍّ الْغِفَارِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 21290
It is narrated by Abu Zar (may Allah be pleased with him) that I used to serve the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). When I finished my work, I would come to the mosque and lie down. One day, I was lying down when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came and moved me with his blessed feet. I sat up straight. The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "O Abu Zar! What will you do when you are expelled from Medina?" I said, "I will return to Masjid Nabawi and my home." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "And what will you do when you are expelled from here as well?" I said, "Then I will take my sword and kill whoever tries to expel me." Upon hearing this, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) placed his blessed hand on my shoulder and said three times, "O Abu Zar! Be patient and forgiving. Wherever they take you, go with them, even if your ruler is an Abyssinian slave." Abu Zar (may Allah be pleased with him) said, "When I was exiled to Rabzah and the time for prayer came, a black man who was in charge of the Zakat animals stepped forward to lead the prayer. When he saw me, he wanted to step back and let me lead. I said to him, 'Stay where you are, I will act upon the command of the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).'"

حضرت ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت کرتا تھا جب اپنے کام سے فارغ ہوتا تو مسجد میں آکر لیٹ جاتا، ایک دن میں لیٹا ہوا تھا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ تشریف لے آئے اور مجھے اپنے مبارک پاؤں سے ہلایا، میں سیدھاہو کر اٹھ بیٹھا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اے ابوذر! تم اس وقت کیا کرو گے جب تم مدینہ سے نکال دیئے جاؤ گے؟ عرض کیا میں مسجد نبوی اور اپنے گھر لوٹ جاؤں گا نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اور جب تمہیں یہاں سے بھی نکال دیا جائے گا تو کیا کرو گے؟ میں نے عرض کیا کہ اس وقت میں اپنی تلوار پکڑوں گا اور جو مجھے نکالنے کی کوشش کرے گا اسے اپنی تلوار سے ماروں گا۔ نبی کریم ﷺ نے یہ سن کر اپنا دست مبارک میرے کندھے پر رکھا اور تین مرتبہ فرمایا ابوذر! درگذر سے کام لو وہ تمہیں جہاں لے جائیں وہاں چلے جانا اگرچہ تمہارا حکمران کوئی حبشی غلام ہی ہو، حضرت ابو ذر رضی اللہ عنہ فرماتے ہیں کہ جب مجھے ربذہ کی طرف جلا وطن کیا گیا اور نماز کھڑی ہوئی تو ایک سیاہ فام آدمی نماز پڑھانے کے لئے آگے بڑھا جو وہاں زکوٰۃ کے جانوروں پر مامور تھا اس نے مجھے دیکھ کر پیچھے ہٹنا اور مجھے آگے کرنا چاہا تو میں نے اس سے کہا کہ تم اپنی جگہ ہی رہو میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کے حکم پر عمل کروں گا۔
Hazrat Abuzar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki mein Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ki khidmat karta tha jab apne kaam se farigh hota to masjid mein aakar lait jata, ek din mein laita hua tha ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) tashreef le aaye aur mujhe apne mubarak paon se hilaya, mein seedha ho kar uth baitha Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya aye Abuzar! tum is waqt kya karoge jab tum Madina se nikal diye jaoge? Arz kiya mein Masjid Nabvi aur apne ghar laut jaunga Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya aur jab tumhein yahan se bhi nikal diya jayega to kya karoge? mein ne arz kiya ki us waqt mein apni talwar pakdunga aur jo mujhe nikalne ki koshish karega use apni talwar se marunga. Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ye sun kar apna dast mubarak mere kandhe par rakha aur teen martaba farmaya Abuzar! darguzar se kaam lo wo tumhein jahan le jayen wahan chale jana agarche tumhara hakumran koi Habshi ghulam hi ho, Hazrat Abu Zar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) farmate hain ki jab mujhe Rabza ki taraf jala watan kiya gaya aur namaz khari hui to ek siyah faam aadmi namaz padhane ke liye aage badha jo wahan zakat ke janwaron par mamur tha usne mujhe dekh kar peeche hatna aur mujhe aage karna chaha to mein ne us se kaha ki tum apni jagah hi raho mein ne Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ke hukum par amal karunga.
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، حَدَّثَنَا زَائِدَةُ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الْبَكْرِيِّ ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ حَمَّازٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ: كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَاهُ.
