Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 21301
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “By the will of Allah, a person becomes so fond of something that he keeps climbing on a thing which is meant to shave (i.e., something which will cause his downfall). Then there comes a time when he falls down from it.”

حضرت ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا اللہ کی مرضی سے انسان کو اس کی آنکھ کسی چیز کا اتنا گرویدہ بنا لیتی ہے کہ وہ مونڈنے والی چیز پر چڑھتا چلا جاتا ہے پھر ایک وقت آتا ہے کہ وہ اس سے نیچے گرپڑتا ہے۔
Hazrat Abuzar (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya Allah ki marzi se insan ko us ki aankh kisi cheez ka itna gرویدہ bana leti hai ki woh mundne wali cheez par chadhta chala jata hai phir ek waqt aata hai ki woh us se neeche gir parta hai.
حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " مَنْ صَامَ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ كُلِّ شَهْرٍ، فَقَدْ صَامَ الدَّهْرَ كُلَّهُ" .
