Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 21390
Narrated by Abuzar (may Allah be pleased with him): I once asked the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), "Which mosque was built first on earth?". The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "Masjid al-Haram". I asked, "Then which one?". He said, "Masjid al-Aqsa". I asked, "What was the time difference between the two?". The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "Forty years". I asked, "Then which mosque?". The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) replied, "Then pray wherever you find a place, for the whole earth is a mosque for you".

حضرت ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ ایک مرتبہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے پوچھا کہ زمین میں سب سے پہلی مسجد کون سی بنائی گئی؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا مسجد حرام، میں نے پوچھا پھر کون سی؟ فرمایا مسجد اقصیٰ میں نے پوچھا کہ ان دونوں کے درمیان کتنا وفقہ تھا؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا چالیس سال میں نے پوچھا پھر کون سی مسجد؟ نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا پھر تمہیں جہاں بھی نماز مل جائے وہیں پڑھ لو کیونکہ روئے زمین مسجد ہے۔
Hazrat Abuzar RA se marvi hai ki aik martaba maine Nabi Kareem SAW se poocha ki zameen mein sab se pehli masjid kon si banai gayi? Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya Masjid Haram, maine poocha phir kon si? Farmaya Masjid Aqsa maine poocha ki in donon ke darmiyan kitna waqt tha? Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya chalis saal maine poocha phir kon si masjid? Nabi Kareem SAW ne farmaya phir tumhen jahan bhi namaz mil jaye wahin parh lo kyunki roye zameen masjid hai.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، أَيُّ مَسْجِدٍ وُضِعَ أَوَّلُ؟ قَالَ:" الْمَسْجِدُ الْحَرَامُ"، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: ثُمَّ أَيٌّ؟ قَالَ:" ثُمَّ الْمَسْجِدُ الْأَقْصَى"، قَالَ: قُلْتُ: كَمْ بَيْنَهُمَا؟ قَالَ:" أَرْبَعُونَ سَنَةً، ثُمَّ أَيْنَمَا أَدْرَكَتْكَ الصَّلَاةُ فَصَلِّ، فَهُوَ مَسْجِدٌ"
