ومن مسند بني هاشم
The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2150
It is narrated by Sayyidina Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) once passed near me while I was playing with some children. I went and hid behind a door. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) called me, and lovingly made me lie down on the ground. Then he entrusted me to Sayyidina Amir Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him).

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ کا ایک مرتبہ میرے قریب سے گزر ہوا، میں اس وقت بچوں کے ساتھ کھیل رہا تھا، میں ایک دروازے کے پیچھے جا کر چھپ گیا، نبی ﷺ نے مجھے بلایا اور پیار سے زمین پر پچھاڑ دیا، پھر مجھے سیدنا امیر معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے پاس بھیج دیا۔
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ka ek martaba mere qareeb se guzar hua, main us waqt bachchon ke saath khel raha tha, main ek darwaze ke peechhe ja kar chhup gaya, Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne mujhe bulaya aur pyar se zameen par patak diya, phir mujhe Sayyidna Ameer Muawiya (رضي الله تعالى عنه) ke paas bhej diya.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ ، سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ، يَقُولُ:" مَرَّ بِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا أَلْعَبُ مَعَ الْغِلْمَانِ، فَاخْتَبَأْتُ مِنْهُ خَلْفَ بَابٍ، فَدَعَانِي، فَحَطَأَنِي حَطْأَةً، ثُمَّ بَعَثَ بِي إِلَى مُعَاوِيَةَ".
