Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 21543
It is narrated by Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) that I asked the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) about the meaning of this verse: "The sun runs its course towards its resting place." The Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “The resting place of the sun is beneath the Throne.”

حضرت ابوذر رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ سے اس آیت " سورج اپنے مستقر کی طرف چلتا ہے " کا مطلب پوچھا تو نبی کریم ﷺ نے فرمایا سورج کا مستقر عرش کے نیچے ہے۔
Hazrat Abuzar Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai keh maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) se is ayat "Sooraj apne mustaqar ki taraf chalta hai" ka matlab poocha to Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne farmaya sooraj ka mustaqar Arsh ke neeche hai.
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ قَوْلِ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَالشَّمْسُ تَجْرِي لِمُسْتَقَرٍّ لَهَا سورة يس آية 38، قَالَ: " مُسْتَقَرُّهَا تَحْتَ الْعَرْشِ" .
