Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 21693
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Darda (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, you will be called by your names and the names of your fathers, so keep good names.

حضرت ابودرداء رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا قیامت کے دن تم لوگ اپنے اور اپنے باپ کے نام سے پکارے جاؤ گے لہٰذا اچھے نام رکھا کرو۔
Hazrat Abu Darda (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya qayamat ke din tum log apne aur apne baap ke naam se pukare jaoge lihaza achhe naam rakha karo.
حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ , حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ , أخبرنا دَاوُدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو , عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي زَكَرِيَّا الْخُزَاعِيِّ , عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّكُمْ تُدْعَوْنَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بِأَسْمَائِكُمْ وَأَسْمَاءِ آبَائِكُمْ , فأَحَسِّنُوا أَسْمَاءَكُمْ" .
