Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 21755
It is narrated on the authority of Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) became ill in his final illness, I and some people with me came to Madinah. I presented myself before the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was silent and not speaking to anyone. Seeing me, the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) raised his hands towards the sky and rubbed them on me. I understood that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was praying for me.

حضرت اسامہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ جب مرض الوفات میں نبی کریم ﷺ کی طبیعت بوجھل ہوئی تو میں اور میرے ساتھ کچھ لوگ مدینہ منورہ آگئے میں نبی کریم ﷺ کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوا تو آپ ﷺ خاموش تھے اور کسی سے بات نہیں کر رہے تھے، مجھے دیکھ کر نبی کریم ﷺ نے آسمان کی طرف ہاتھ اٹھائے اور مجھ پر پھیر دیئے میں سمجھ گیا کہ نبی کریم ﷺ میرے لئے دعاء فرما رہے تھے۔
Hazrat Usama bin Zaid RA se marvi hai ki jab marz ul wafat mein Nabi Kareem SAW ki tabiyat bojhhal hui to main aur mere sath kuch log Madina Munawara agaye main Nabi Kareem SAW ki khidmat mein hazir hua to aap SAW khamosh thay aur kisi se baat nahi kar rahay thay, mujhe dekh kar Nabi Kareem SAW ne aasman ki taraf hath uthaye aur mujh par phair diye main samajh gaya ki Nabi Kareem SAW mere liye dua farma rahay thay.
حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي , عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ , حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ السَّبَّاقِ , عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ , قَالَ:" لَمَّا ثَقُلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ هَبَطْتُ وَهَبَطَ النَّاسُ مَعِي إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ , فَدَخَلْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَدْ أَصْمَتَ فَلَا يَتَكَلَّمُ , فَجَعَلَ يَرْفَعُ يَدَيْهِ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ ثُمَّ يَصُبُّهَا عَلَيَّ , أَعْرِفُ أَنَّهُ يَدْعُو لِي" .
