Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 21762

It is narrated on the authority of Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: There is no Riba (interest) in hand-to-hand transactions, rather it is in transactions involving a future obligation/debt.

حضرت اسامہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا نقد معاملے میں سود نہیں ہوتا وہ تو ادھار میں ہوتا ہے۔

Hazrat Osama bin Zaid (رضي الله تعالى عنه) se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya naqd mamle mein sud nahi hota woh to udhar mein hota hai.

حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي , عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ , حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي رَافِعٍ , عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ , حَدَّثَنِي أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ , أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " لَا رِبًا إِلَّا فِي النَّسِيئَةِ" .
