The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2208
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "There is healing in three things: in drinking honey, in cupping, and in cauterizing with fire, but I forbid my Ummah from cauterization."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے ارشاد فرمایا: ”تین چیزوں میں شفا ہے، شہد پینے میں، سینگی لگوانے میں اور آگ کے ذریعے زخم کو داغنے میں، لیکن میں اپنی امت کو داغنے سے منع کرتا ہوں۔“
Sayyidna Ibn Abbas raza Allahu anhuma se marvi hai keh Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne irshad farmaya: Teen cheezon mein shifa hai, shehad pine mein, singi lagane mein aur aag ke zariye zakhm ko daghne mein, lekin mein apni ummat ko daghne se mana karta hun.
حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ شُجَاعٍ ، قَالَ: مَا أَحْفَظُهُ إِلَّا سَالِماً الْأَفْطَسُ الْجَزَرِيُّ ابْنُ عَجْلَانَ حَدَّثَنِي , عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: قال النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:" الشِّفَاءُ فِي ثَلَاثَةٍ: شَرْبَةِ عَسَلٍ، وَشَرْطَةِ مِحْجَمٍ، وَكَيَّةِ بنَارٍ، وَأَنْهَى أُمَّتِي عَنِ الْكَيِّ".
