Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 22093
It is narrated on the authority of Muadh (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) promised us regarding five things that whoever does those deeds will be under the protection of Allah: one who cares for a sick person, one who participates in a funeral procession, one who goes out in the way of Allah for Jihad, one who goes to the Imam (leader) and honors him, or one who stays in his house so that people remain safe from his harm and he remains safe from the harm of others.

حضرت معاذ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے پانچ چیزوں کے متعلق ہم سے وعدہ کیا ہے کہ جو شخص وہ کام کرے گا وہ اللہ کی حفاظت میں ہوگا، مریض کی تیماداری کرنے والا، جنازے میں شریک ہونے والا، اللہ کے راستہ میں جہاد کے لئے جانے والا، امام کے پاس جا کر اس کی عزت و احترام کرنے والا، یا وہ آدمی جو اپنے گھر میں بیٹھ جائے کہ لوگ اس کی ایذاء سے محفوظ رہیں اور وہ لوگوں کی ایذاء سے محفوظ رہے۔
Hazrat Muaz Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ki Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne panch cheezon ke mutalliq hum se waada kiya hai ki jo shakhs wo kaam karega wo Allah ki hifazat mein hoga, mareez ki timadari karne wala, janaze mein shareek hone wala, Allah ke raaste mein jihad ke liye jaane wala, Imam ke paas ja kar uski izzat o ehteraam karne wala, ya wo aadmi jo apne ghar mein baith jaye ki log uski eza se mahfooz rahen aur wo logon ki eza se mahfooz rahe.
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ , حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ , عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ , عَنْ عُلَيِّ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ , عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ , عَنْ مُعَاذٍ , قَالَ: عَهِدَ إِلَيْنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي خَمْسٍ , مَنْ فَعَلَ مِنْهُنَّ كَانَ ضَامِنًا عَلَى اللَّهِ: " مَنْ عَادَ مَرِيضًا , أَوْ خَرَجَ مَعَ جَنَازَةٍ , أَوْ خَرَجَ غَازِيًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ , أَوْ دَخَلَ عَلَى إِمَامٍ يُرِيدُ بِذَلِكَ تَعْزِيرَهُ وَتَوْقِيرَهُ , أَوْ قَعَدَ فِي بَيْتِهِ فَيَسْلَمُ النَّاسُ مِنْهُ , وَيَسْلَمُ" .
