The Musnad of Abdullah ibn al-Abbas ibn Abd al-Muttalib (may Allah be pleased with them both)

Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 2240
It is narrated on the authority of Sayyiduna Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) designated Dhu'l-Hulayfah as the Mīqāt for the people of Madinah, Juhfah for the people of Syria, Yalamlam for the people of Yemen, and Qarn al-Manāzil for the people of Najd. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, "These places are Mīqāts for their respective inhabitants and for those who pass through them intending Hajj or 'Umrah, even for the people of Makkah who will enter the state of Ihram from the places whence they begin (their journey)."

سیدنا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے مروی ہے کہ نبی ﷺ نے اہل مدینہ کے لئے ذوالحلیفہ، اہل شام کے لئے جحفہ، اہل یمن کے لئے یلملم اور اہل نجد کے لئے قرن کو میقات فرمایا، اور فرمایا کہ ”یہ جگہیں یہاں رہنے والوں کے لئے بھی میقات ہیں اور یہاں سے گزرنے والوں کے لئے بھی - جو حج اور عمرہ کا ارادہ رکھتے ہوں - حتی کہ اہل مکہ کا احرام وہاں سے ہوگا جہاں سے وہ ابتدا کریں گے۔“
Sayyidaana Ibn Abbas ( (رضي الله تعالى عنه) a se marvi hai ki Nabi (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ne ehl Madinah ke liye Zulhulayfah, ehl Shaam ke liye Juhfah, ehl Yemen ke liye Yalamlam aur ehl Najd ke liye Qarn ko miqat farmaya, aur farmaya ki "Ye jagahen yahan rehne walon ke liye bhi miqat hain aur yahan se guzarne walon ke liye bhi - jo Hajj aur Umrah ka irada rakhte hon - hatta ki ehl Makkah ka ihram wahan se hoga jahan se wo ibtida karenge."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ طَاوُسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، قَالَ: وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ، وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ، وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنًا، وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ، قَالَ:" هُنَّ لَهُمْ وَلِمَنْ أَتَى عَلَيْهِمْ مِمَّنْ سِوَاهُمْ مِمَّنْ أَرَادَ الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ، ثم مِنْ حَيْثُ بَدَأَ حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ ذَلِكَ أَهْلَ مَكَّة".
