Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 22559
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: “Whoever gives respite to his debtor who is in difficulty or writes it off will be in the shade of the Throne of Allah on the Day of Resurrection.”

حضرت ابو قتادہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ میں نے نبی کریم ﷺ کو یہ فرماتے ہوئے سنا ہے جو شخص اپنے مقروض کو مہلت دے دے یا اسے معاف کر دے تو وہ قیامت کے دن عرش الہٰی کے سائے میں ہوگا۔
Hazrat Abu Qatada Raziallahu Anhu se marvi hai ke maine Nabi Kareem (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) ko ye farmate huye suna hai jo shakhs apne maqrooz ko mohlat de de ya use maaf kar de to woh qayamat ke din arsh elahi ke saaye mein hoga.
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ , وَعَفَّانُ , قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، قَالَ: عَفَّانُ فِي حَدِيثِهِ: أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الْخَطْمِيُّ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ كَعْبٍ الْقُرَظِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: " مَنْ نَفَّسَ عَنْ غَرِيمِهِ، أَوْ مَحَا عَنْهُ، كَانَ فِي ظِلِّ الْعَرْشِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ" .
