Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 22773
Once, Sufian bin Uyaynah (may Allah have mercy on him) was counting the names of the Ansar's representatives (nuqaba), and he mentioned the name of Ubadah bin Samit (may Allah be pleased with him), saying that he participated in the second pledge of Aqabah, the battles of Badr and Uhud, and the pledge of Ridwan, and he was one of the nuqaba.

ایک مرتبہ سفیان بن عیینہ رحمہ اللہ نے نقباء کے نام شمار کروائے تو ان میں حضرت عبادہ بن صامت رضی اللہ عنہ کا نام بھی لیا اور کہا کہ حضرت عبادہ رضی اللہ عنہ بیعت عقبہ عزوہ بدر، احد اور بیعت رضوان میں شریک ہوئے اور وہ نقباء میں سے تھے۔
Ek martaba Sufyan bin Uyainah rahmatullah alaih ne nuqaba ke naam shumar karwaye to un mein Hazrat Ubadah bin Samit razi Allah tala anhu ka naam bhi liya aur kaha ke Hazrat Ubadah razi Allah tala anhu bai'at Aqabah, Badr, Uhud aur bai'at Ridhwan mein sharik hue aur woh nuqaba mein se thay.
سَمِعْت سَمِعْت سُفْيَانَ بْنَ عُيَيْنَةَ يُسَمِّي النُّقَبَاءَ، فَسَمَّى عُبَادَةَ بْنَ الصَّامِتِ مِنْهُمْ، قَالَ: سُفْيَانُ: " عُبَادَةُ عَقَبِيٌّ أُحُدِيٌّ بَدْرِيٌّ شَجَرِيٌّ، وَهُوَ نَقِيبٌ" .
