Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 22827
It is narrated by Sahl (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) considered asking questions as disliked and a fault (For complete details, see Hadith No. 23218).

حضرت سہل رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ نبی کریم ﷺ نے سوال کرنے کو ناپسند اور معیوب قرار دیا ہے (مکمل تفصیل کے لئے حدیث نمبر ٢٣٢١٨ دیکھئے)
Hazrat Sahl Radi Allaho Anho se marvi hai ke Nabi Kareem Sallallaho Alaihi Wasallam ne sawal karne ko napasand aur maayooub karar diya hai (mukammal tafseel ke liye hadees number 23218 dekhiye).
حَدَّثَنَا نُوحُ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَالِكٌ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي سَهْلُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ" أَنَّهُ كَرِهَ الْمَسَائِلَ وَعَابَهَا" .
