Hadith of Abu Malik al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him)
حَدِيثُ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ
Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 22901
Abu Malik Ash'ari, may Allah be pleased with him, once gathered his companions and said, "Come, let me show you how the Holy Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, used to pray." ..... Then the narrator mentioned the entire hadith and said, "He recited Surah Fatiha in the first two rak'ahs and those behind him heard his voice."

حضرت ابو مالک اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ نے ایک مرتبہ اپنے ساتھیوں کو جمع کر کے فرمایا کہ آؤ میں تمہیں نبی کریم ﷺ کی طرح نماز پڑھ کر دکھاؤں۔۔۔۔۔۔۔ پھر راوی نے پوری حدیث ذکر کی اور کہا پہلی دو رکعتوں میں سورت فاتحہ پڑھی اور پیچھے والوں کو اس کی آواز سنائی۔
Hazrat Abu Malik Ashari RA ne ek martaba apne saathion ko jama kar ke farmaya ke aao mein tumhen Nabi Kareem SAW ki tarah namaz parh kar dikhaoon..... Phir ravi ne puri hadees zikar ki aur kaha pehli do rakaton mein Surah Fatiha parhi aur peeche walon ko us ki aawaz sunaai.
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ ، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ , أَنَّ أَبَا مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيَّ ، قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ: فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَ حَدِيثِ سَعيْدٍ، إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: وَغَسَلَ قَدَمَيْهِ، وَقَالَ: وَقَرَأَ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ الْأُولَيَيْنِ بِفَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ، وَيُسْمِعُ مَنْ يَلِيهِ.
