Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal 22913
It is narrated on the authority of Abu Malik Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said to his people, "Stand up, so that I may lead you in prayer as the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to pray." So the people stood in rows behind him. He recited Takbeer (Allahu Akbar) and performed Ruku (bowing). Then he raised his head and recited Takbeer, and prostrated (in Sajdah). And he did so throughout the prayer.

حضرت ابو مالک اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ سے مروی ہے کہ انہوں نے اپنی قوم سے کہا کہ کھڑے ہوجاؤ تاکہ میں تمہیں نبی کریم ﷺ کی طرح نماز پڑھاؤں چنانچہ لوگوں نے ان کے پیچھے صف بندی کی انہوں نے تکبیر کہہ کر رکوع کیا پھر سر اٹھایا اور تکبیر کہہ کر (سجدے میں گئے) اور ساری نماز میں اس طرح کیا۔
Hazrat Abu Malik Ashari RA se marvi hai ki unhon ne apni qaum se kaha ki khare hojao takay main tumhen Nabi Kareem SAW ki tarah namaz parhao chachanche logon ne un ke peeche saf bandi ki unhon ne takbeer keh kar rukoo kiya phir sar uthaya aur takbeer keh kar (sajde mein gaye) aur sari namaz mein is tarah kiya.
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ أَبِي هِنْدٍ ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ غَنْمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيِّ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِقَوْمِهِ: " قُومُوا صَلُّوا حَتَّى أُصَلِّيَ لَكُمْ صَلَاةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ: فَصَفُّوا خَلْفَهُ، فَكَبَّرَ، ثُمَّ قَرَأَ، ثُمَّ كَبَّرَ، ثُمَّ رَكَعَ، ثُمَّ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ فَكَبَّرَ، فَفَعَلَ ذَلِكَ فِي صَلَاتِهِ كُلِّهَا" .
